Over the years, Gateway Solutions has developed a range of industry specific software and communication requirements necessary to control the business processes of our clients.
We offer a comprehensive range of services through our Maintenance Contracts covering most makes and brands of PC’s and peripherals. Our contracts are flexible and can be tailor-made according to the requirements of ship owners and agents based on annual, voyage contracts or on-call basis customer requirements. Preventive maintenance and virus checking/cleaning services are also available through these maintenance contracts.
Installations, Upgrades and Relocations:
The Company configures and installs all types of equipment, cabling, hardware, software, and system upgrades. We also undertake the physical movement of equipment or change management programs outside normal working hours. This includes:
- Flexible PC Hardware Maintenance contracts – All Parts/Labor Only/On-site/Carry-In etc.
- Software Support – All popular standard application and packages are supported.
- Local Area Network Support (On-Site or Modem based) – Novell NetWare/ Windows NT.
- Outsourcing services – On-site Help Desks/Systems Administration.
- Upgrading of PC Hardware
The Company also undertakes Data, Voice and Power cabling services.
Rent IT Equipment
Gateway Solutions also undertakes the short-term and long-term renting of IT equipment including Data dongles, WIFI Routers, Projectors, Laptops, Computers, and much more.
All engineers at Gateway Solutions are technically trained with proven experience and include specialist engineers in areas such as Local Area Networks (LAN), Communications and Component Repair. We also possess in our cadre engineers who have received brand Specific training in diagnosis and repairs. Each engineer is highly skilled with domain knowledge on popularly used application software.
The Company is structured to support customer requests through Call Control, which acts as the interface between the customer and the Field Services team. We also offer Workshop and Outsourcing services upon request.
The Engineering Department is organized into two teams namely; the workshop team which handles repairs up to and including board/component level troubleshooting and the field team which services and repairs equipment on location. The field team also handles cabling problems and troubleshooting network software including LAN administration services at shore and off-shore (Out Port Limits).
